Description
This set of two banneton liners is key to producing beautiful loaves of sourdough. The porous linen lining prevents the dough from sticking to the wicker basket, producing a more impressive, well-risen loaf.
After shaping the bread dough, place it upside down in the lined banneton or proving basket for its final rise. A linen-lined banneton helps to keep the bread’s shape during proving and is thought to improve the bread’s crust.
Using a banneton liner means your sourdough wont have distinctive basket marks on it – instead, use your lame to create intricate designs of your choice.
