Description
The walnut Microplane fine grater is a must-have tool for parmesan lovers. Conventional graters can struggle when faced with the hard cheese, but the Microplane fine grater makes adding a fresh grating of parmesan to your bowl of pasta as easy as eating it!
The fine grater also lends itself to shaving chocolate for hot drinks and desserts, or use it to grate ginger and garlic for homemade curry pastes.
Microplanes story begins in Canada in 1994. A Canadian homemaker was frustrated that her kitchen graters were not up to the task of zesting an orange instead of neatly removing the zest they would tear, catch and stick. In a flash of inspiration, she took a woodworking tool from her husbands workshop. The super-sharp blades effortlessly shaved the orange zest, and the idea for Microplane was born. Microplanes are now the graters of choice for professional chefs and home cooks all over the world.
This Microplane fine grater features an elegant walnut wood handle, non-slip foot and protective cover. All graters come with a lifetime guarantee.
Hand wash only. Do not soak. Use a food-safe mineral oil or wood preserver to keep the walnut handle in top condition.
