Description
The Microplane Premium Zester is the easiest way to zest limes, lemons and oranges. The ultra-sharp blades glide through the zest without cutting through to the pith underneath.
You can also use the Microplane zester to get super-fine parmesan shavings, or even use to grate nutmeg.
Microplanes story begins in Canada in 1994. A Canadian homemaker was frustrated that her kitchen graters were not up to the task of zesting an orange instead of neatly removing the zest they would tear, catch and stick. In a flash of inspiration, she took a woodworking tool from her husbands workshop. The super-sharp blades effortlessly shaved the orange zest, and the idea for Microplane was born. Microplanes are now the graters of choice for professional chefs and home cooks all over the world.
Every Microplane grater features a comfortable soft-grip handle, non-slip foot and protective cover. All graters come with a lifetime guarantee.
Grater is dishwasher safe. Protective cover is hand wash only.
