LorAnns concentrated essential oils and flavourings have been an integral part of American candy making and baking for over 46 years for both the professional and the home chef. Unlike diluted extracts, they are 3-4 times stronger than others on the market. LorAnns flavouring contain little or no alcohol and will handle the heat in cooking and baking better a little goes a long way. LorAnns super strength flavourings, are specially formulated for optimal results in hard candies, chocolates, fudges, icings, baking and specialty confections.

For applications where just a hint of caramel flavour is needed, we suggest adding flavour by the drop until the desired intensity is achieved. When substituting the LorAnn flavours for extracts, use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon for 1 teaspoon of extract. 1 dram = 1 teaspoon (approx.)
