Description
This Japanese Sushi Plate is made for the kind of meal that wants a little space around it. Sushi, gyoza, sliced fruit, a few pickles, or a small run of cheeses all sit well on a long serving plate like this. It gives you room to arrange things without crowding the table.
I like plates like this because they change the pace of eating. You put it down in the middle, people reach in, and the meal becomes more shared. Good for Friday night sushi at home, but just as useful for olives, cured fish, tempura vegetables, or a neat row of little cakes.
