Chouseki Matcha Bowl & Whisk Set – Default Title

Description

The Chouseki Matcha Gift set has everything you need to make matcha green tea in traditional Japanese style. Handmade in Japan, the bowl has a gradient pattern in blue and sandy brown that resembles the sea shore. (Chouseki means tide in Japanese.)

The set includes:

• Glazed porcelain matcha tea bowl
• Bamboo matcha whisk
• Whisk holder
• Chashaku bamboo matcha tea spoon

Matcha is a finely ground green tea powder that has been enjoyed as part of the Japanese tea ceremony for hundreds of years. Rich in antioxidants, it is said to boost brain health and relieve stress.

For one serving of matcha tea, use the chashaku to measure out two scoops of matcha tea powder into the bowl. Add a splash of hot water, and use the whisk to make a paste. Then top up with approximately 70ml of hot, not boiling, water. Use the matcha whisk in a vigorous W motion until the matcha becomes very frothy. Enjoy immediately.

The Chouseki matcha bowl set is a great gift for matcha lovers. For a gift thats ready to enjoy straight away, select a pot of matcha from our matcha green tea range.
