Description

Use Netherton Foundrys copper pudding mould to create delicious sweet and savoury puddings. Its the perfect size for making a steak and ale pudding to serve with rich, glossy gravy. Alternatively, satisfy your sweet tooth with a zesty lemon sponge or indulgent sticky toffee pudding.

The heavy duty spun copper pudding pot has a tin lining to protect it from acidic foods and prevent flavour tainting. There are four indentations cut into the top rim to ensure that the string used to retain the parchment paper remains in place. The paper is used to cover the pudding to keep it dry when placed in the boiling pan.

Caring for your copper pudding mould:

  • Copper is not dishwasher safe, so should be washed in warm soapy water with a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Rinse and dry thoroughly before storing.
  • Avoid scouring pads and metal utensils which will scratch the lining. Wood or silicone utensils are the best option.
  • Tin has a melting point of 232C / 450F, which means its important not to leave the pans on the hob with nothing in them. If you ensure theres always something in the pan, it shouldnt cause an issue in your day to day cooking.
  • If using in the oven, it is best not to go above 180C / 356F.

About Netherton Foundry

The Netherton Foundry is a family company based in Shropshire home of the 18th and 19th century ironmasters. Netherton launched their first product in the autumn of 2011, a slow cooker. Spun iron cookware is probably what the brand is most known for, in particular they immensely popular prospector pan, used by chefs and home cooks alike. But over the years they have expanded their range to also include fantastic, tin lined copper. Its a great brand for fantastic quality cookware. Their pans are made from locally sourced materials wherever possible. Experienced local craftsmen use traditional manufacturing methods to bring you high quality cookware that gets better over time.
